Hi!

I've really missed St. Mary's. I would like to say hello Mrs Gutteridge, Mrs Young, Mrs Brown and all the other teachers there!

I am really excited because this year I'm going to Sir Johnathan North Community College. It feels like it has been so long since I've been to that school but it has not.

At Shaftesbury Junior School the teachers are really nice and I'm now a LEVEL 4- 5!

I have made lots of friends

Hi Mr Meridith,

I don't know if you remember me but I was in your class in yr 1 and yr 2. I am 11 now and I'm in yr 7. I was looking at the school website and I saw loads of pictures then I came across a couple of you and I must say I don't think you've changed much at all. I was best friends with Millie Griffin, Amena ( I can't remember her surname) and Pheobe Samual-Grey (maybe that will help you remember me.) I remember every day of St Mary's and I hope I always will because I miss you all sooooooooo much

Lots of love to everyone Olivia xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxx

P.S. I haven't set fot in St Mary's ever since I took my last step out of there and when I'm older and if I have children I will send them there if the school is still strong and standing.

Hello there,

I was looking through my halloween box and found an old St Mary's polo. The memories came flooding back! I went on the virtual tour and it all came back to me. I moved away from Leicester in 2002 and I am currently living near Cambridge. I'm studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and German. Your website is great and good fun.

Jack, 17

To Martyn Pole, (entry made on 6/4/2011)

I was at St Mary's in the 1960's and remember the Head being Miss Smalley and Miss Sharp one of the teachers, plus the large sand pit and the climbing frame!

Did you used to live on Heyworth Road, on the Great Central side and then moved to Narborough Road?

Dear Mrs Gadhok,

I went to Ukraine during the summer holidays and then we went to the south of Ukraine on a bus and it took us 5 hours to get there. At the beach I made so many friends. I had to speak Russian to them. I will extremely miss you and hope to see you soon xxxxxxxx

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to all the brilliant staff at St. Mary's! Molly has thoroughly enjoyed her 4 years here and I have enjoyed watching her learn so much. Although we are excited about moving up to another school, we are also very sad to be leaving such a fantastic school behind! xxxx

I will miss this school because I have done exciting stuff like going to Beamanor, Temple, church, Botanical gardens, swimming, Trycross zoo. I have seen 2 famous people called Scott Oakes and Denise Lewis, but there are people that came to this school like the puppet show and Dinoursar dome. I will miss my teacher and classroom, but I am looking forwards to my new school.
